take 2

in an unprecendented show of procrastination and ambition, i've decided to post twice in a day. dave is right when he says homework sucks, everyone knows that. but you know what else sucks? everything else. college has just about reached critical mass. this semester is just bollocks. but i guess being forced to take shitty classes so you can enjoy your junior and senior years of college is a sacrifcie worth taking.

inside man, the new spike lee "joint" (though i'm not sure it's technically a joint since he didn't write it, but there's stil plenty of crazy white people putting down the poor black man in it) is worth a movie ticket price (14 dollars my bollocks!). denzel gets better every time i see him. he's just fucking good at being a person. he's not an actor, he's a person. and he can act like other people.

sickness overwhelms the 'sc campus every once in a while and i am currently in the middle of one of those whiles. but i have veronica mars to keep me company. a way better california based show than that other bollocks (the one that's filming on my campus currently). and it's got elliot the photographer from just shoot me in it. i've been watching season one, and so far no david spade cameo, but its coming, i can feel it. but seriously watch this show, its bollocks (in a good way this time)

and in case you didn't figure it out, my new brit-lit word of the month is bollocks. there's a rather beefy entry for it on the urban dictionary that you can check out...................

they should put that on a billboard or on that thing on perryville by the clock tower. i made my supervisor laugh with that line (he's from chicago).

in other news, the oc was filming on campus today, and adam brody was about 50 feet away from me. i'm not excited either.

the one good thing about classes this semester: i get to write a paper on arrested development and the office.

baseball season approaches, coupled with a significant drop in my gpa. let's just hope that all this steriod bullshit doens't put a damper on the game. but god help me if barry "i don't need no bail" bonds(man) breaks the most sacred record in sports. he should just retire. and then die.

what's next? fantasy nascar?

oh wait, they have that too. so the fantasy baseball league is finally underway. and i "wasted" my first pick on Prior (he deserves a capital since he's the almighty Prior and it's the most proper of names) even though he's hurt. whatever man, he'll be back. just a subscapularis strain, no biggie. my boy will return, mightier than before, because as we all know, that which does not kill Prior makes him angry. and stronger. and awesome-er. as opposed to these people, who were not strong enough not to be killed. okay i'm being unsympathetic...but look! a video about facebook! whee!

so i guess i'll do this again every once in a while. but it's a new game and new rules.

1. no capitals. they're for fascists.
2. more writing samples. might as well get some productivity out of this thing.
3. less minutiae. who cares if i ate at carl's jr. yesterday? (i did by the way)
4. more typos. i hate them, but they add character. spellcheck is for sissies anyway.
5. better format. i want to mess with some html stuff and get some cool shit going. like that music video.

so there you are. i'll do my best to make it worth checking every once in a while. for now, i guess i'll just resotr to another music video. yes! my first typo.

who knows who'll see this but i think this is one of the best music videos, if not one of the best songs i've seen/heard in a long time.
